To clarify, it is Dylan Cockman from Arlington at 160 lbs. His brother Dalton now wrestles up at Simpson College I believe.

Nice job on the rankings this year! Couldn't have been easy putting them together with Covid and so much uncertainty clouding this season. We all appreciate your time and effort.

How do i go about doing the girls rankings since they have not been done all season?

It will be very interesting to see what happens with some of the weight classes where there are three ranked wrestlers from the same region. 

126: Bates, Warnock, Woerner

145 Mann, Fisher, Hylton

182: Tanksley Boyd Lewis

With the regions only sending 2 from each weight class there will be some very tough kids not qualifying for state, what sucks for them is that there will also be some weak kids coming out of regions 2, 3, and 8 in some spots.

there should be a sub state like duals. top 4 from each region and then combine regions i to 4 sub state tournaments where top 4 there qualify. could even do it in back to back days considering each would only have 8 kids per bracket. it wouldn’t take long.

What we need to do is get on back to normal. 

Less kids at the state tournament does not help us grow wrestling.

Ben Gray from Cleveland is a strong 195 pounder who could potentially place at State but the top 2 ranked guys are in the same region.

With them splitting small school and big school 50/50 I'd say the days of the 32 man bracket are done.
