I am just surprised he is leaving this area. Their families are super tight with a kid and another on the way. Didn’t see this coming at all.

I agree, I'm surprised he left West TN.

Didn’t know that. I just sold my condo 2 years ago about 7 miles from Independence High School and lived there in Franklin about 8 years. School is right there on 840. Houses up there are crazy high right now. I wished I would have kept mine now.

Looks like Lawrence Co is open now that Sharn Clark has stepped down - since dropped to 3Acould be attractive

John Dyer announced as West Ridge HS head coach. Rumor has it that many coaches turned down the offer. Dyer had retired in 2020 and sat out last year coaching.

McMinn County is open. Not sure who would be interested. I could see Jay Johnson being under consideration (assistant under last coach). Dark horse: Andy Pennington, HC at Sequoyah right now. Has kids in the McMinn school system. Not sure he would leave his alma mater though.

Looking at South Gibson records over the last 4 years I would say good luck to whoever follows the coach that is leaving.
