Agree with you based on the expectations of so many for SP to mercy rule Fayetteville. But if you take away the disappointment, that was a great game to watch. To have a throw to the end zone on the last play to win a game that was in question from opening kick to final buzzer was great to watch. Of course, I might feel different if we lost :).

When you stuffed the 4th and goal in the 1st qtr I knew then that it was going to be a good one

That defensive group had several goal line stands in the postseason. They were special. Hoping we can try to replicate that this year.

We may be a little spoiled with our linemen. A new kid shows up and he's about 6'1 and 270 and it's not impressive lol. In practice these kids look the part. Hopefully that translates into Friday night success.

How did those kids fare vs Bledsoe?  You all lost at least 1 good ol correct? You seem very confident in this ol. Just trying to understand how good because they didn’t score vs Bledsoe

We lost that game 17-0. 0-0 @ the half and gave up a couple big plays in the second half and missed on a few offensively. Bledsoe had a very good team last year and deserved to win that game. We return about 16 or 17 starters and we played a lot of kids last year. One of the coaches told me they can go 2 deep on the line with hardly any drop off in size or talent. That's the way these things work. If you have success with underclassmen and return a bunch of starters and add more talent then you expect to have a very good season. 

Just get that new turf down before the home opener
