Hearing they’re changing offense and defense this year. Hope it don’t bite them in the butt on offense but need to get away from 3-4 defense

Never been a fan of a 3-4 defense at any level, especially in a league where you are going to face a lot of serious run teams.

It don’t help matters either when you don’t adjusted against your opponents. Yes 3-4 sucks in high school

Why do you believe a 3-4 to be lacking vs a run offense? “3-4” is just a trendy name for a 5-2, or what old school coaches refer to as a “50”.  What defense to you prefer?

Wow...gotta disagree here...I have seen quite a few highly successful high schools use the 3-4 defense. Now you might not have the right personnel to run it sometimes but as a scheme it is tried and true at every level.
