What a fitting end to a tough 2 seasons for Coach White. He had the BEST team in the state last year in all classifications would have won state last year without question, loses 3 starters, comes back and wins a state championship when his team wasn’t even picked to win his own district. Don’t tell me coaching doesn’t matter!!  Congratulations to Coach White and the Tigerettes of Macon County!

Congrats to Coach Larry White .  In all honesty he and the team  won 3 championships in a row.

MC overcame a ton of adversity. Picked 3rd in the district by some. Lost Keeley Carter and others after last years heart breaking end. And got it done with 5 players. Credit to Larry White. You can now say he will go down as one of the greats! PROUD TO BE A TIGER!

Long time friend of my dad he told him the day he got the job and said it was a dream come true to coach the Tigerettes. It was an almost impossible job at RBS with Clarkrange, Jackson, Clay/Celina, Pickett and Upperman to go through during his time there. he legitimately had a top 5 single A team some years and never made it out of the regional Tournament.

Congratulations to Coach White!! Got a chance to meet him in the hotel yesterday!! Super nice guy and couldn’t be more deserving.

1.) Congrats Macon Co.  Well deserved, well coached, and well executed!

2.) I hate that your Sr's from last year missed out on their chance to get that gold ball, because I definitely feel y'all would have taken it easily.

3.) Best team in the state in all classificatons last yr isn't only a stretch, it's inaccurate.  Greenfield and Ensworth were both better (I saw all 3 multiple times).

Greenfield being told they were the best team in all classifications by a Loretto fan, who beat them the year before and was tied with them with 2 minutes left last year in Martin, is a strong statement. They were good and undefeated, but I have seen a many teams that were undefeated get knocked out early in the Boro.

I still feel like we could have beaten them in the state tournament had covid not happened, but can't argue with their record or their talent level last year!

Negative Greenfield was NOT better. Maybe Ensworth but NOT Greenfield. It wasn’t a foregone conclusion that Greenfield was going to beat Clarkrange. They would have been favored but at the end of last year Clarkrange was playing their best ball unlike this year. I’m not saying greenfield could not have beaten them but they were not clearly a better team the edge would have went to Macon County just because of the size and depth of the teams.

Lol..  Ok bud.  Pretty sure y'all lost to a local team, Westmoreland maybe...? And Clarkrange played you close each game... the same Clarkrange team Greenfield blew out at the Murphy Center the previous year.  Greenfield added a transfer and was much better last year for it.  In my educated opinion, Greenfield would have taken 3 out of 4 games if y'all were on each other's schedule last year and met that many times.

But, this post is to celebrate a great coach.  So ill leave my opinions with this post.

Congrats Macon Co, congrats Coach, Congrats to the fans.  These are great times (other than all the b.s.goin on in the world of course, lol)

Same Westmoreland team knocked off Upperman the week before, if I remember correctly.
