MidTennFootball
If you make the state championship, do you really care if it adds 90 minutes to your travel? If Oakland made the title game, I'd travel to Bristol if that's what it took
TomLHS
I like the choice of Chattanooga. Hopefully Riverdale will get a chance to play there in the near future.
BarneySox2007
I think the TSSAA was over the the Fred Flintstone like condition of the place at Cookeville and a Jumbo Tron wasn't exactly their idea of improvements. Also heard the field wasn't idea either but TTU told them they were going to replace it the year after next season. My biggest complaint was the high winds coming across the area which made a night game very hard to watch especially if it was real cold. My only worry about Chattanooga is if it goes to Memphis sometime in the future.

Don't think Memphis has even bid on the Blue Cross Bowl

I have been to a lot of games since the 70’s, and actually attended one in 1989 at Vanderbilt where you had to break the ice from the seats to sit down. Lost Old Dad
Only winner is the T$$AA. Only thing I would like to know is how much is the kick back and to who it went to.
sheppy
Wonder how cheap the hotel's will be and how close to the stadium compared to Cookeville?

Oh by the way, in the 1989 game between Gallatin and Oakland at Vanderbilt, the turf was terrible. Edited March 18, 2021 by TomLHS
