I believe you are correct.  North Greene and University High will be tough for us or Tellico. But you never know.  Our baseball team has had one championship back in late 90's and we have been to  several state tournaments but we have been through a little bit of dry spell.  We were pretty close a few year ago when Greenback knocked us out by 1 run in an elimination game when they won the state.

I know some of the guys from that 98 championship team and remember one coalfield team making it to state when I was in high school. You guys have talent for sure. Should be a good one Friday with Hines on the mound against North Greene

How is Hines? NG will throw a tall, lanky lefty more than likely. High 70's velo with some good offspeed.

He throws mid 70s with decent off speed stuff. Nothing over powering but he throws a lot of strikes and makes the other team put it in play. They’ve got a pretty good field behind him and don’t make a lot of errors. Should be a good game tomorrow!

Whaley?? The one time I saw him, I would venture to say he was in the low 80s. That's when he walked the #8 batter for SN in the bottom of the 6th and blew his perfect game.

In the last Alcoee and Marevul game in 2019 at Alcoee, which team rushed for 250 ish and the other for 50 ish? As far as Marevul playing Oakland the Rebels did actually lose to a great team. But the Marevul boys still hold the series lead over Oakland and dominate the combined series records with Ruco teams, much like Alcoee does their series record with Scott Co. Tee Hee Hee
