The end of an era and the passing of the torch to a younger generation!  Let’s hope that Jordan helps Kyle win a gold medal much like Dave Schultz did with Kenny Monday.

2021 Olympic Freestyle Team

Thomas Gillman

Jordan Oliver

Kyle Dake

David Taylor

Kyle Snyder

agreed! hopefully he can put any beef they may have behind him and help him prepare. Pretty stoked for this team. Oliver is a bit of a surprise coming out of an absolutely LOADED 65 KG bracket, but this team is stacked! Bring on Tokyo!

I don’t think we’re qualified at 65kg yet. He’s going to have to make the finals of the last chance qualifier next month in Bulgaria.

65kg is only men's freestyle weight not yet qualified. If JO wants to be an Olympian it is in his hands now.  Interesting to see what the field will look like.

There are two Greco weights yet to qualify.  All of the women's weights are qualified.

Also, should be interesting to see if it is truly the end of an era for Burroughs or not.  I wouldn't write him off completely yet, he has said he isn't done.  Wouldn't count him out in the future at either... always possible Dake slides back up to 79 kg in the non-Olympic years as well.

    • If someone needed their grades pumped up surley it would have to be for someone needing it to get to another level. If your intending on going to work right after high school it wouldn't matter. Why would someone in their right mind think if they screwed it up in high school that their ready for college. It has to be for an athlete to get them over the fence to get in and from that point the school their going to will cheat them through the rest of the way for their athletic skills just like the rest.
    • The new school will be on that road behind Home Depot next to a church. I'm wondering if this could take from Greenback or could it be the end of Greenback, they only have 200 students.
    • Yeah it will take the county kids in that area that were going to lenior city. They will move down to 4a I think

    • That's utterly ridiculous. No way a public school pays money to get rid of a coach. They just fire them. There's no coaching contract it's year to year.
