Wade Twins!!!

With most of the O-line and RB's and key receivers coming back, if they will keep the passing game short, I think they can get back there. Yes, I hate that our twins are gone, but it has also been fun watching the Wade twins. Both sets have really lifted their school's programs.

they tried keeping the pass game short in round 3 last year, and vs powell and you see how that worked out.

lol, UT hasn't been fine for "many years".  We're right there with Vandy and Kentucky. Three years from now we'll be hunting for another coach.

How many times has Kentucky beat TN since Stoops has been at KY. Stoops got there in 2013 and TN has more wins with Jones and Pruitt as the coaches. Hopefully Heupel gets it turned around.

My point is we shouldn't have worries about Vandy and Ky.  We should be capable of beating Florida, Ga. and Alabama. Nobody thinks we're capable of beating any of those teams. I agree, "Hopefully" Heupel get's it done. But there's nothing I can see from his past to the present that he can do it. It's more or less a shot in the dark.

Would agree. I think the investigation is hurting TN in recruiting with the in state kids. This years in state class is really good.

LOL at some of these posts. UT will be fine.

UT is done. I’m sure it’s a fine school but its glory days of football are over. The competition in the SEC is just too much, and TN just doesn’t produce enough instate talent to keep up with the powerhouses.

Their best bet is to hope Heupel works out and can scheme his way to success. If he’s a good enough coach he can still win there, just probably not every year. That’s assuming he isn’t run off by the pitchfork mafia before he even gets a real chance.

    • Why would the tax payers be responsible for paying for only a coach? In recent years with all the theft from various programs in schools from different programs with booster clubs (not just sports) the State of TN has made alot of rules surrounding booster clubs and how they handle money.  I have two documents to review, 1 is 40 pages from the state comptroller and the other is 37 pages from my district, so I can consider starting a booster club for my middle school program. It has been too much trouble in the past for the other coaches.  There is no way there needs to be an adult in the school building for 7 hours a day with no responsibilities except coaching.
    • The only thing that was said at half time of the 45-0 game was Coach Story, he said: "I know y'all have been out there a lot, but kick-off team, y'all need to get down there faster!" Then he and the other coaches proceeded to go into the coaches office and we all went nuts!  It was the only time I can ever remember coaches not saying anything at half time. Definitely a great memory!!!
