Forgive me for bragging, but I'd like to give a tip of the cap to one of Scotts Hill's own. For the second time this season, Evan hit three dingers for the Vols in an SEC game (Mar. 27 LSU)... the third yesterday was a grand slam that secured the win against Vandy, and was his second of the game against Jack Leiter, who is the projected first pick in this year's draft.

Let 'em hear that roar Evan!

I don’t blame Evan and hope he gets a ton of money. Fake news has been alive and well for a while. Time for some consequences for wreckless behavior.

Watched Evan play several times in high school, he was a stud. Have kept up with him at UT as well. Seen those multiple home run games. Happy for the young man. He’s a junior this year right?

I believe that you're right, but not sure...time get's away from me faster and faster as I get older and older!

Evan is a smart and hard working kid that was a walkon for the Vols.  Yes, he has some defensive deficiencies behind the plate but he is a serviceable NCAA D1 receiver.  My intuition tells me that Evan will be successful at wherever his career path leads him.  He is the type of college player that everyone should want on the team.

Yes...he was (is) the nicest, most polite kid you'll ever see, bowtie wearing, goofy demenor, "nerdy" vibe and all. What you wouldn't have guessed was that he was the hardest hitting, and most competitive player ever to wear a Lion jersey.

      Began as a discussion, and evolved into a trainwreck...   Don't know how many of the TC "old guard" are left, but I feel for y'all.   Everybody has to get the last word... no matter the cost and sometimes the cost is high.

      He may have possibly said that to get the best out of him. Back when I was in school word got out I was going to transfer and Coach Story popped off and ask Coach Wilson in front of the team if Maryville was going to get a jock strap in return on this trade. That got back to me and I got fired up and stayed just to show them up. Now today Coach Story is one of my best friends.

      Dylan's Dad, I'm glad you replied. I wanted to reply but wasnt willing to take the bait. There were 20 wrestlers on the team. I may be mistaken and correct me if I'm wrong but I believe 5 of the 20 attend McCallie right now and one will next year. At most, there are/were 6 kids on that team who attend McC. That leaves 14 other team members who have ZERO affiliation with McC (outside of maybe some friends) who represented our state to the best of their ability and wrestled their butts off that weekend. That weekend was a first for Tennessee and obviously a small step in the right direction for us as a state. Congratulations TEAM TN BLACK!

      Danny Wilson is the only one that come's to mind but I don't know where he is at now.
