History goes a long way in Trousdale county, but this week the school board accepted a bid to redo the bleachers on the creekbank, a change long overdue! The visitor side is set to be cut in half and will have approx 720 seats, the home side however will now be 18 rows high instead of the previous 16 rows, the new bleachers should benefit those disabled, with new ramps on each end of the bleachers, and hand rails up and down them. Demolition will begin May 22nd, the plan is to be ready to play ball on August 13 which is the Jamboree, the bid was placed just short of $856,000. However it does still need to be passed by county commission on Apr 26. The shortage in school costs due to COVID-19 helped push the board to accept the bid, I look forward to seeing the creekbank updated, and as always GO Jackets! 

If they work anything like Sumner county you will be lucky to play at home in the 2023 season!!!

Demolition begins Saturday morning! Time will tell, any set backs and we could be in trouble. Luckily 4 out of first 5 are on the road, so we would only have to worry about the Aug 27th game vs Upperman. Their goal for completion is Aug 13th for the Jamboree.

Actually, it was funded by the board keeping the kids in school only two days a week once Clint didn't get his precious tax increase to pay for it. It's sad what some people will do with no regard for how it affects the wellbeing of all of the kids.

I'll say again, if it is for football, TC finds a way. But paying their teachers, janitors, and educational assistants...  Hope you enjoy the state minimum.

I went by the creek bank last weekend. The old stands have been completely demolished and removed. No sign they ever existed. When does construction start on the new stands. Materials had not been delivered when I was there.
