Mike Mays steps down as TN High coach

Coach Mays has resigned to become the strength and conditioning coach for Bristol Tennessee City Schools.  Matt Chandler, the dc, will be the interim coach.

Hire John Cropp back. He might come out of retirement and win Bristol another National Championship.

This is a surprising move. Mayes had been there awhile and is a great coach. Only reason I can think of was the money factor. One would think this is a fairly attractive job considering the Castle and the fact that they are basically guaranteed a playoff spot year in and out.
