Region 1-A Early Outlook

I think it's very impressive for cland considering they lost 6 seniors from last year.  I knew they would be pretty good with that sophomore class.

King it's beyond impressive. I'm sure you remember me saying at the beginning I see yall taking a slight step back while still being good. Obviously I was wrong for once

There doesn't appear to be a 2020 Greenfield level of team this year in 1A. Might make some noise down there this year.

If I was a gambler,  I'd say Mckenzie would play Dresden for the gold ball.  I would love for us to make some history and win a game down there.  I would've rather drawn Van Buren than Wayne County.  It appears to be a tossup between Gleason, Wayne, Dresden, Clay,  and north greene.  There is a ton of parity between these teams.  Its tough to bet against mckenzie.  I feel like we are real close to being able to play for a gold ball but there is a few things we have to get better at.  The biggest one is SHOOTING.  I feel like these next two seasons that people will have to pay attention to cland.  Blair will be a freshman this fall and will give Sahara another speedster and defensive player with good hands and quickness.  Street will be a sophomore with a ton of quickness.  Cloudland will be able to bring more pressure than they have in years.

I'd be tickled poopless if we just won a game.  We've never done it.  Gotta take baby steps.

Our girls in the late 80's where fixtures there.Runner up in 86 and won it all in 87 same year we won it in football.Weve had some real good girls teams but when our old coach hung it up we went South,got a coach now and she is getting the there.Shes a good one.Just hard at our small schools to stay consistent.

I noticed some of the lady kees scores and I was like dang!  They were pretty good this year.
