No offense taken. It has hurt other sports down here big time too. Girls will choose to focus on one sport instead of helping out the other teams because they don’t want to “get behind” someone else that’s moved in.

We have a girl from unicoi who will play next season.  Probably our first transfer since Brooke rhodes in 2012.  To your coach's credit,  at least he's trying to keep you winning.

It makes sense if you think about it.  She wouldn't start as a freshman at Crockett.  She would at NG.  It'll be all about padding stats to help her recruiting.  No offense to our husky buddies on here but NG has turned into more of a travel team.

King, think your wrong. She would start at any school she goes to. She is the best in the area. I have no horse in the race but I heard Crockett.

I agree with you.  The main advantage NG can offer is they have a history of getting to the Boro and Crockets path to it is tougher.

Agree!! Whoever gets is going to be lucky. I heard she works all the time at her game.

Can schools/teams in this region just move around and attend any school they want? I’m confused on how there’s so much transfer talk.

Sounds like it is open enrollment as 8th graders. Once you have a HS record you have to leave your premises which is House A and go to House B.

I hope she goes to Crockett but I thought they were loaded with great players

Also Crockett is more loaded with great scheduling.  They played only 1 AAAA team in non conference. Played alot of bad 2A teams. CD ,Hancock county, Pigeon Forge and UH just to name a few. They lost to Unaka in a 20 minute jamboree. Not all it's cracked up to be
