Hopefully he’s at least helping these kids in the game of life. Are they winning at life? That’s what I’m curious about. Wins and losses are trivial when it comes to the big picture.

I can see it now. Son you and your team just got your rear handed to you tonight in the football game. But chin up we are undefeated in the game of life. LOL

I’m thinking year 3 of the Coach E era will be your best season since 2019!

Since Bill Satterfield took GB over in 1985 and turned us into a 1A top 10 team year in and out we have never had 3 losing seasons in a row, well now we have and if this guys stays it will be 4.We cannot let this keep spiraling out of control.

I understand where your program is. Both the relevance and the decline. We used to be a factor as well. If the decline continues 99% of the people will quickly become fine with it and find moral victories and excuses. The decline and the acceptance of mediocrity being celebrated as a “pretty good year” will eat away at the heart and mind every day of the remaining 1%. Ask me how I know. I know which group you’d be in as well. Hopefully they get your hire right. This is a program defining moment. Y’all are teetering on the edge of relevance and mediocrity. How this is handled will push you one way or the other. I’m concerned with the fact that ole spray tan still has a key to the field house.

100% correct.Pirate2003 is fine with this it seems.lol.GB is one if not the only team to put the Pirates out of the playoffs more times than not.So his thoughts of the best year since 19 would be 6 wins and that my friend isnt a "Good" year round here!

We are both tredding water right now. When teams used to schedule either one it was thought of as a potential loss, now we are the Homecoming Queens.I dont like it for either!!

This is the third place he has coached at and the results have been the same every time.
Sweetwater removed him and put him in the weight room. They were elated that Castile and spafford hired him at GHS.

Looking back it sounds this guy has never been given a chance. He was written off from the start with zero support. Was there a point when anyone ever bought into his beliefs? He went into a cess pool where nobody in the community wanted him. This was not very smart by him to enter himself into a no win situation without any type of support. I met him at Boyd Buchanan this season. Seemed liked an outstanding mentor of kids. He said all the right things anyway.

    • Shopping? His family is loaded and he's 6'6 I'm pretty sure he could start anywhere in upper East TN,So no need to shop. Word is Witten got caught trying to work him out on campus and some 7 on 7 while playing athletics for Sullivan East. Word got around pretty quick and Someone turned them into TSSAA.
    • Quick update on Jacob -  Jacob celebrated his 16th birthday at Vanderbilt on Tuesday and has been in decent spirits.  His sense of humor has begun to show as he was visited by many friends.  He is swallowing a lot better now and has eaten some of his favorites (Chik-Fil-A and Five Guys).   He is getting prepared to head to Atlanta to the Shepherd Center first thing tomorrow morning.  His family has been waiting on insurance approval. In case you dont know the Shepherd Center it a world class facility and supposedly one of the best in the country for spinal injury rehab.  Praying for perfect results there. Considering the circumstances, Jacob is in decent spirits.  He has some reflexive movement in his legs which I think is probably a very positive sign.  Don't read too much into that just yet as there is no telling what the real prognosis is... just hopeful that is good thing.  I am really just happy that it seems like he has a punchers chance of getting something back.  He is a strong young man and very determined so I think he will fight as hard as he can in physical therapy while down in Atlanta. More than one of you has asked me about an address to send donations.  I know GoFundMe isn't for everyone.  If you want to go that route, you can make a check to "Blackman Wrestling Club" and we will pass anything received directly to the Kinderdines.   Jacob Kinderdine c/o Blackman Wrestling 4836 Trevino Court Murfreesboro, TN  37128 Also, want to thank everyone who has donated so far.  Jacobs dad will take a month off work and stay in Atlanta with him.  They need to learn how to take care of him and do home therapy work..... and surely Jacob will be glad his dad can be there.  All that could not happen without you all.  Depending on what happens, they will probably end up doing some home remodeling in order to accommodate Jacob at their home.  Thanks again. Here's a pic I lifted from Facebook of Jacob on Oxy talking to his Uncle.  LOL
