Stanford Wrestling is BACK!!

The best news i’ve gotten today! Stanford has reversed their decision to cut wrestling and 10 other varsity programs.

 

“The decision to reinstate the programs came after public backlash, threats to lose donor money, and even two lawsuits filed against the university in federal court, brought by athletes on the targeted teams.”

 

Its a good day in the wrestling world!

If they had only made the decision sooner so that their great coach would not have taken the job at American University.

i agree there. or hadn’t lost kids to the transfer portal. but it’s still a step back in the right direction.
