I think she is coming from a high school in Georgia. I saw her coaching travel ball for EAB last year. She seems like a tough young coach who knows her stuff. The girls all really liked her and responded well to her. I think she will do great at Riverdale.

What is the issue at Riverdale, coaches are in and out of the place more than any other school in Murfreesboro!

They had a juggernaut program. I know they hired Joel and Ashley Ayers who would have been great there but getting a house there is not easy. Administration at schools in Middle Tennessee especially will have to adjust pay with the housing increases to get good coaches there. I think you have to look at who is doing the hiring if the program is on the decline.

Never have thought Ayers as a great coach. He’s had talent at Gleason & Dyersburg and really never made deep postseason runs.

Coffman never really did either and won three state titles at Riverdale in three years.

With the opening of Rockvale High this took away two of the better feeder schools to Riverdales Girls Basketball program.  I’m sure there is talent still there just not as much as before.  I look for Rockvale to be an up and comer in all sports in Murfreesboro.

He had some talent for sure. I sold real estate in Murfreesboro for about 15 years and schools rezoned all the time. I didn’t know they lost some good feeder schools.
