We are in the TSSAA Dead Period, but practice & scrimmages/play days will be here before we know it! Use this thread to discuss AAA Volleyball in 2021. Who are your favorites headed into the season?

I'll always have my eyes on Brentwood. Will be interesting how Nolensville will factor in now that they have finally moved up to AAA.

USA Today just showed the state of Tennessee some love.  They named Brentwood Volleyball their National Team of the Year.....in ALL SPORTS, not just volleyball.  Congrats to Coach Campbell for one mor

It seems likely that 5-6 of the 8 teams in the 2020 “AAA” State tournament will make it to State in 2021.  Graduation will hit some harder than others but I would think programs like Brentwood, Clevel

Brentwood and Nolensville will be the State Championship game for this upcoming season.   That's my prediction at least.

I would def. say you are barking up the right tree for sure. You might have a Houston, Siegel type sneak in there as well. Brentwood will be the team to beat...again for sure. :-)

This Brentwood team will not be as dominant as years past but will still be a great high school team.  Games that were 3 sets previous years will be 4-5 sets this year.  A new coach and no Eggleston on the roster in over 6 year will test this team early.  They have 2 really good hitters on the left and a good hitter on the right side, a returning setter, and a libero and DS who have had very strong club seasons.

Nolensville losing Starcke at libero is going to be a big blow but Coach Brett Young is a really good coach that will keep them in it.  The young outside hitter will have another year of growth as well.  She may be the player of the year.  Blanking on her name at this time, she was a sophomore last year.

Brentwood hosts their annual team camp this Friday and Saturday at TOA (formally known as AGame).  24 teams are be divided into 4 groups of 6.  Group 1 is LOADED:  Brentwood, Baylor, Houston, Siegel, Valleyview (6 time defending Arkansas state champions), and St Agnes.  All teams in this group will go head to head once on Friday and once on Saturday.

How did this event shake out? Who looked good early?

siegel looks like a jv team size wise.  Dobyns Bennet looked soso, the mistakes are easily correctable.  Overall the talent in all divisions looked down.  

Did Nolensville play?  How did they look if they did?

They were not there.  My personal opinion (for whatever it's worth) is Nolensville's year will be determined by two specific positions (players) and how the coach coaches his lineup.  If they are clicking, they will be dangerous

      Im sure Nick Saban didnt have the final say at Alabama! That was not one of your brightest statements. How can you be that uneducated about football and blog about football? Its fair to name people who get arrested, its part of the consequences of their dumb mistakes as adults. You talk mess about the satterfields for way less. Are you that guys lawyer? I have never seen somebody defend someone so hard for something that could have been catastrophic.
