I'm with you I agree wholeheartedly that's the way we did it back in the day it's football!

The last game of my sophomore year was during a rain/wind storm. It was also in the Low 40's or High 30's. Probably the most fun I ever had.

I absolutely agreed! I never understood why teams are cancelling games because of rain or wet field conditions.

I will also throw this out there. I don't like it when teams are cancelling games due to lightning. I believe the South Fulton/Greenfield game had a lightning delay. But if teams are going to cancel games on Friday and move them to Saturday, then there goes your Saturday plans because of the game. I'd rather stay at another school for an additional 1.5-2 hours, then come back on Saturday and spend a good chunk of the day at the game.

Teams postpone games due to rain because it will significantly reduce attendance therefore impact the gate receipts in a negative way.
