Class A Region 5 & 6 Top players…

For those of you, who have watched the teams in these regions or closely follow these teams, who are some of the top players in this area.  I plan on attending several games featuring these teams so I’m just trying to get an idea of where some of the individual talent is

Right off the top of my head. the Darby kid at Greenfield is probably the best player in Single A around this area.

Greenfield has really been able to turn out the talent lately.

Savannah Davis from McKenzie.

These West TN teams are loaded.  Still difficult for me to get used to the fact that McKenzie is in region 6

I saw a post from TheTNReport listing both Savannah Davis and Edie Darby among others as players to watch in Class A.  Did anyone else see this report?

Reynolds girl from McKenzie is an outstanding player also.

Yes.  Both of them!  There are two Reynolds.

McKenzie is like Gibson County and Westview and will be across the river for Region and sub-state. McKenzie will be tough as will Wayne County. Greenfield and Gleason will be good as well in Region 7 Whoever is the runner-up in Region 7 will probably have to go to Memphis and play a tough MAHS team that took Peabody to overtime last year. Edie Darby will be a finalist for sure for Miss Basketball. She can flat out play and has to be double teamed.

Don’t sleep on Richland freshman Shelby Higgins. She will at times show she’s a youngster and other times she’s gonna drop 30.
