Who, or more importantly what gives you the audacity to feel that I must reveal myself to you? I speak truth and nothing but the truth and most people I LC feels the same way

I’m not looking for an argument! Here’s my thing you get on here anonymously and may not even realize how many people you may be bashing. If you have solutions to all these problems then run for school board…I’ll listen to your concerns and consider my vote. I am just friends with many of the administrators and support them! Guidance is an example. I think we are doing the best with the means provided! Quinn is doing it all and I’ve seen a much more disciplined team the past two games.

Here it goes! Prides 2 cents! Means nothing but your getting it , I have seen these Falcons behave horribly last year multiple times and this year once ! These young men are growing as people and men daily, yes they lost to a 3 time GoldBall winning team with the best coaching staff in the state, and did it with class ! If only winning games was Quinn’s agenda then he wouldn’t be a coach ! This guy has a bigger job than winning a game , if you don’t truly understand what a high school coaches job is them just stay silent ! Quinn has Trenton respect ! He’s breaking the toxic cycles in some of these young men’s lives, that’s more important to your community than a GoldBall!!!!!!!!

Best staff in the state?? Yea they have 3 gold balls in 2-a but you really need to see some of the other staffs in the state.
Their resumes are insane

No question about it, they have one of the best staffs in the state. In my opinion, they definitely have THE best coaching staff in West Tennessee without question. And that's going from the Middle School straight to the varsity. JMO

I agree they are good.  The results speak for themselves.  But not near the best. Example Lipscomb’s strength and conditioning guy came from the Houston Texans.   Look at Maryville, Baylor, Cpa and Lipscomb’s staff.
crazy.  I bet the coordinators of Cpa make more than the Trenton coach

It's not about what program you came from or how much cash you make as a coach. It's all about results. And over the last several years, Peabody is the bull of the woods in it's class in the state of Tennessee.

Results speak volumes, not payroll or pedigrees.

I've always respected your opinion, but you've gone to another level within the last week. I could say more, but there's no need...preach on.

    • Personally I was pulling for Lee Hammonds to get another shot. He’s earned it!
    • Tyler Williams was the logical choice to be named head football. He served as the Highlanders’ strength coach and offensive coordinator.
    • I went to practice yesterday and liked what I saw for the most part. Derek and crew have done a good job during the off-season. I was very impressed with the size of some of those boys on the offensive line. My only regret was one of the boys I was really pulling for to have a good year was dismissed from the team. I have to applaud the coaches for setting examples for the others, no one is bigger than the team. One other thing, I was hoping with that big rain we got this week some of that  yellow paint would dissolve but it didn't.
    • Couple of thoughts: 1.  I just don't understand all the intricacies in TSSAA transfer rules anymore.    William Blount had a kid that played the final part of the basketball season with them this year,  that played at Hardin Valley last year, and played football for Bearden this year.  I say that to say, I know the coaches and the AD and the Principal at WB and I will never believe they would do something they knew was wrong.  They are men of character.  I BELIEVE the same thing about the coaches and administration at Maryville.  Call me gullible, but these are men and women of integrity in my experiences with them. 2.  Much like the transfer of the Clemmer kid a couple of years ago, with Smith, the football team is getting a huge boost, but the impact on the basketball team will be just as great or maybe even greater.  With Smith playing post, it frees the Sigmund kid who will be coming back from injury, to play more with his face to the basket.  The Rebels basketball squad in my mind, will be "the program" in East Tennessee next year.
    • Could not agree more. After this year, McKenzie's new coach will have their work cut out for them. Staying in 1A would definitely be a huge plus. Most years there is not much difference in the top 5- 1A and 2A teams across the state, but after the top 5 or so there is normally a huge drop off for 1A. Regular season region play is a lot easier for 1A in West TN  right now.
