Forrest is very awful at two things needed in a game like this

1. 3rd down defense.

2. stopping big plays.

and that doesnt even begin to touch the impotent offense. the entire offensive staff and players should inject liquid Viagra into every orifice they can starting  NOW until gametime, and again at halftime

I'm not one to boast about the team but I'm not for sandbagging either. Meigs is the king of the East until proven otherwise. This bunch at MC has the POTENTIAL to challenge for a state title but only time will tell. Bledsoe gave MC a good game for the most part. I believe the line on both sides of the ball are going to have start playing with a little more attitude from play one. Can't remember who said it earlier but what we want to do on offense isn't a secret. Pruitt wants to establish a physical brand of football, so for 4 quarters we are going to line up and run right at you with the occasional pass/trick play thrown in depending on the night.

The polls are a great tool for some type of measuring stick but I wouldn't put all my faith into them. Hopefully both teams escape injury free tonight. The Warriors need to build on last week and get off to a fast start on both sides of the ball. Forrest folks, have a safe trip down to the valley. Looking forward to some Friday night football!

I agree, line has to play with a mean streak.  The d line got pushed around against a much smaller bledsoe front.  To be successful they must be disruptive.  The linebackers coming to the line and stopping isn't helping.  They have to be called on to pressure the qb.  We were celebrating tackles on 3rd and 15 when we gave up 18.  Not going to cut it against meigs.  Qb can't have 5 or 6 seconds to pass and us be successful on defense.  We only ran 21 plays on offense because we had trouble getting off the field.  Got to keep improving.
