The WB AD is more worried about the Creamsicle crap than he is about the crap coaching.

I was sent this message today via screenshot.  Normally I just ignore critical posts on this forum:however, I feel it is necessary to let the readers know what the “Creamsicle Crap” is.

3 years ago I began doing a Creamsicle Race during halftime allowing students to run against “THE CREAMSICLE” who was Robbie Lotz. It turned into a fun event involving the student body.  I would give prizes away to the winner.

In late July this year The Creamsicle’s wife (Kayla Lotz) lost her battle with cancer at the age of 33.  Instead of just sending flowers or something like that I decided I would do something involving The Creamsicle Race. So I had Kayla Lotz Memorial Creamsicle shirts made.  At lunch the week of home games I sell them to students for $5. When a student purchases one they get a ticket.  On Fridays I draw 5 students out to race against the New Creamsicle.  Anyone who beats the Sicle gets to come back on Senior Night and race.  Whoever wins that race gets $1000 in cash in memory of Kayla who was a huge fan of the CREAMSICLE RACE.

I take offense to this being called “Creamsicle Crap.”  Anyone who would like to discuss this with me can call me at (865) 621-3065.

thanks

Thanks for honoring Kayla Mr. Cupp !  When you presented the idea Kayla’s mother broke down in tears and was so thankful .

It’s crazy that someone would have a negative twist on it but what else should we expect from people on this site (keyboard warriors)…

This is a great thing etcoach has done and thanks for stepping up and letting everyone know. To lose someone is very hard but to lose someone so young is even harder. I'm sure who ever wrote that didn't know. I feel so bad inside for williebgov04 and what all this young man has been through there are no words to describe other than I hope everyone will take a minute for thoughts and pray for him.

Sure  JetLock.  Make the check to William Blount High School and in the memo put Kayla Lotz Memorial.  Thank you for your contribution.  And Barney I am also sure that Mayvis had no idea.  That is why I felt the need to post what I did.  Sometimes folks need to be careful of what they are posting.   While it's fine to be critical of me or Shad or whomever you choose, it's not fine to get personal and make jokes on things you have no clue about. This is a prime example.  It doesn't cost anything to be nice to others. and, unfortunately, it is becoming less and less common.

Once again, thanks to JetLock for stepping up.  And I put my phone number at the end of every post because it is always turned on and I am willing to talk to anyone who wishes to call.
