Waverly travels to Monterey

Waverly travels to Monterey this Friday. Monterey seems to have a pretty good squad by looking at their record. Can any of you East Tennessee guys give some insight on them?

Our boys are decent and have a pretty fair defense allowing 10ppg. #8 is a candidate for Mr. Football so they will be a test for our defense. I hope it will be as good of a game as it looks like on paper!

My bad it's #4 not #8...wasn't sure of his jersey #....lol

Oh you will see a Mr. Football caliber from a #8 for Waverly. The kid is a stud! I’m pretty excited about this game we need some good competition. White House has been the only decent team we have played to be honest.

Monterey is a fairly good ball team this year. Have a shot at the semis if they can beat Hampton at a guess. They are probably top 10 in 2A for sure.
