Gordonsville @ Trousdale

Dear 6 pound 8 ounce baby Jesus..I've never heard so much silly whining from grown men. Ok...so here.......

6-1 TC vs 7-0 Gordonsville(with COVID win btw)

There.....does that suffice? Make some of you feel better? Good Lord! TC isn't a program that "dodges" folks on schedule. It's an absurd argument.....period. Ask yourself and be honest with yourself..."do I truly think TC would be afraid to play UHS?"  Come on now! Win the game? I dunno. Lose the game? I dunno. It's irrelevant. Must say I admire the TC hate lol.

Now, can we please move on and discuss the topic of this thread? I think both teams deserve that respect!

About Friday's game, it will be a tough one. Both teams can be explosive, yet they've shown some inconsistencies. Defensively, both teams are solid. I don't expect a high scoring game at all.

Both teams are very solid on defense, and if you like watching D-ends this one is the one for you, 3 stud d-ends in this game! TC has hit a few big ones the last couple weeks, but I really like our drives against Macon, we were really good on offense that game, they knew what was coming and couldn't stop it.  I wonder if Gville will try to run more to open up the pass? This will be our first big pass defense test since FC and they lit us up in the 1st half but we adjusted.  Should be a dandy Friday night on the Creekbank!  P.S. Hope you like the new bleachers.

I'm not going to lie to year after this group of sophomores TC will hit a dry spell for about three years. But the group coming up after that will have TC looking like they did in the late ’90s early 2000 in TC. Maybe because most of those teams' kids are in that group.H2O won't be on TC schedule then I think we will be in different classifications soon.

You got this group of sophmores for the rest of this year and the next 2 years. I feel as tho they have proven they are true athletes. Calhoun. Atwood and Gregory are going to carry this team by their Senior year. Those are facts.

Have to find the pieces with them! Can't run the ball with one o-lineman

Sorry I haven't gotten to respond to this thread. I have been on the campaign trail for the last couple of days. At the end of the day TC dodged Upperman like a fat person dodging a salad. It is what it is, but everyone knows the truth. Also, I have seen TC once in person this year and Gordonsville once in person this year. TC plays a cupcake schedule and if they come out in their new "spread" offense they may not cross the 50 against G-Ville. Looks like the TC offense is searching for something and they better find it before Friday night. I can assure TC in my year and a half of watching football that their spread offense will not work. #Huggins2024

It seems to me that TC would like to SWEEP this dodging under the rug!

    • Quick update on Jacob -  Jacob celebrated his 16th birthday at Vanderbilt on Tuesday and has been in decent spirits.  His sense of humor has begun to show as he was visited by many friends.  He is swallowing a lot better now and has eaten some of his favorites (Chik-Fil-A and Five Guys).   He is getting prepared to head to Atlanta to the Shepherd Center first thing tomorrow morning.  His family has been waiting on insurance approval. In case you dont know the Shepherd Center it a world class facility and supposedly one of the best in the country for spinal injury rehab.  Praying for perfect results there. Considering the circumstances, Jacob is in decent spirits.  He has some reflexive movement in his legs which I think is probably a very positive sign.  Don't read too much into that just yet as there is no telling what the real prognosis is... just hopeful that is good thing.  I am really just happy that it seems like he has a punchers chance of getting something back.  He is a strong young man and very determined so I think he will fight as hard as he can in physical therapy while down in Atlanta. More than one of you has asked me about an address to send donations.  I know GoFundMe isn't for everyone.  If you want to go that route, you can make a check to "Blackman Wrestling Club" and we will pass anything received directly to the Kinderdines.   Jacob Kinderdine c/o Blackman Wrestling 4836 Trevino Court Murfreesboro, TN  37128 Also, want to thank everyone who has donated so far.  Jacobs dad will take a month off work and stay in Atlanta with him.  They need to learn how to take care of him and do home therapy work..... and surely Jacob will be glad his dad can be there.  All that could not happen without you all.  Depending on what happens, they will probably end up doing some home remodeling in order to accommodate Jacob at their home.  Thanks again. Here's a pic I lifted from Facebook of Jacob on Oxy talking to his Uncle.  LOL
