Sounds like Heath and Wes may be finding a groove.

Yep I’m sure a few adjustments were made and it’s working against weaker teams.  I do think these coaches will have the young men prepared the best they can for each game.  Stone is a defensive and offensive guru as far as breaking down schemes.  I just hope all the coaches that Jones brought in are helping him 110%.  Our inexperienced guys are starting to come into their element.  They have the ability and will continue to work hard to help their teammates.

HELLLLLOOO!! HELLLLOOO! HEEEELLLLLLOOOOOO!!!

Guys I haven’t been in a while. Just wanted to chime in a few things. Few observations for one Jones not spending time to teach some of these young kids up front fundamentals, how to hit somebody and be physical has hurt them boys development. Too many reps and tempo and not enough actual coaching. I get Jones wasn’t given a fair shake on being able to make a staff but you gotta adapt. Not sure if many on here know it but we don’t have any coaches on the team that are even teaching at the school besides Heath who wasn’t even coaching with Jones. Besides him and Stone the team is relying on 1st and 2nd year volunteer coaches to coach this team. Now thats not a knock on these new coaches at all. Few of them I think have a bright future but it isn’t ideal not having much experience on the staff. School has to get rid of some teachers and make room for some coaching hires in the future. Need to get Stone back in the building and then need to get a couple more coaches that have some experience to mix in with our young staff. Not having coaches at the school is just crazy to me. Most years the team has 4/5 coaches at the school. Now we are dang lucky we have so many Volunteer coaches that live locally that’s been able to help but these boys need those connections at the school everyday. I commend Stone and Heath for taking on this mess. Our fans especially some of our parents need to shut their mouths or go on down the road. These kids have had enough negativity already so support the team or go support somebody else. It we gotta come together and right the ship. We have gotten better each game since the North Jackson game. I’m not a fan of all this throwing crap but we just can’t run the football real good right and need to roll with what the kids have adjusted too. Keep getting back up when we fall and keep getting better each week. KEEP HITTING SOMEBODY BOYS!! THE EAST STILL GOES THROUGH SOUTH PITT!!

That Roy D Dillard man was always talking about taking that Tower to a woodshed in Stevenson and laying wood.

    • Yep..could possibly have 3 teams ranked in top ten in the same four team district.
    • He had an opportunity to be the OC at TC without final say in the offensive gameplan. How does that work? Smh. Head Coaches are public figures regardless of the community size, and yes there are some out there, it’s irrelevant and not fair to them to name them on here. Also why is said “head coach” the head coach of the MS baseball program to begin with? Oh because no one wants it. As for the Lebanon question, I know what I’ve been told so just going off here say, some of the boosters were not happy with his roster decisions and wanted him out. Although he lead them to 20+ wins in multiple seasons
    • A head coach in the school system? No I dont think so. Head coaches are public figures in small communities. Not trying to slander, but this is an actual question. Do you know why he was forced to resign at Lebanon? This was his second chance.  He already left trousdale once and had an opportunity to come back a couple of years ago but spoiled that.
    • Are you perfect? Nope no one is, at the end of the day there are several teachers/coaches and even some in the Trousdale County school system that have DUI’s on their record. You’re correct on it being a bad mistake and it unfortunately could have ended horribly. While you consider the consequences minimal, I can assure you they are not. Ultimately I hope and have faith that he will learn from it and use it to better himself.
