So you think Red Bank beats Fayetteville??

Yes.  I'm putting City on alert.

We are only playing 20 miles up the road from Red Bank.  So, I may sneak away from our game and catch some of this one.  I believe it has the potential to be a competitive contest.

Fayetteville City has NEVER lost a game outside of Beene Stadium that I have attended.    You'd think they'd have me and Roy some reserved seats.

We don't do so well at  Beene Stadium.  SP always plays hard at home and usually has a good team.  That cannon is a great x-factor!   I agree that Red Bank will be the fastest team City has played this season.  We need to take them very seriously.

Thinking of eating at Merv's.  Little burger joint I came across while GoogleMapping our route just south of the school.  Anyone been there/done that?  If so, what do you guys/gals recommend?

Never ate there.

Our game with them was canceled for lightning back in 2019 and we ate at Nooga Q Smokehouse Grill.  I'll give it a thumbs up.

Wherever you may stop tell em @MountainTroll sent ya.

Mervs is a great choice and probably 5 minutes from the stadium.  One of the best burgers around!

Merv's makes a good burger and has cold beverages, too. Just 5 minutes to the stadium from there, and parking at Red Bank is pretty quick and easy.

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
