Oz has a must win in one of the next 2 games to make the playoffs. Thats a tall order considering its coalfield then midway. This coalfield game will hopefully be a good game. Oz is playing decent ball and things are coming together but lets face it , Its coalfield and they are tough this year. I dont make score predictions but it could be a fun game to watch or it could be hugh fight(hopefully not) these boys all know each other good or bad. I am looking forward the the game

Actually if you did beat CF it wouldnt help you.You have to beat Midway. Then if Midway beats GB and it's a 3 or 4 way tie it gets complicated.lol.Oakdale actually has 2 losses with the Covid loss to CF.Gonna be a wierd next few weeks.

Should be interesting to say the least! Those Highlanders  may get their wish of playing you all this year in the second round.  Been there and done that for way too many years.

You all match up good with Midway.  They got two pretty good receivers and a Qb that will run. I believe you guys can run on them and control the line of scrimmage.  They play hard though!

My guess is, Cloudland will play Harriman in the 1st round and  then Midway. Shoot, you could make another long trip to the Mountains.

    • Not sure how I would put it as recruiting perhaps kids trying to better their career by going to a head coach and coaching staff with connections all over college football that gets them the opportunity to go play college football and be coached by a coach with a pretty good track record.
    • Lee would have been a good choice, also.  I'm sure Benny was involved with the decision.
    • Personally I was pulling for Lee Hammonds to get another shot. He’s earned it!
    • Tyler Williams was the logical choice to be named head football. He served as the Highlanders’ strength coach and offensive coordinator.
    • I went to practice yesterday and liked what I saw for the most part. Derek and crew have done a good job during the off-season. I was very impressed with the size of some of those boys on the offensive line. My only regret was one of the boys I was really pulling for to have a good year was dismissed from the team. I have to applaud the coaches for setting examples for the others, no one is bigger than the team. One other thing, I was hoping with that big rain we got this week some of that  yellow paint would dissolve but it didn't.
