I think Crockett has the better team this year.   Boone is really hungry for this win though so it may come down to who wants it the most.       It's no secret that our only strength this year is defense, our offense has been on the back of a milk carton.    Looking for a good game, hope Boone wins but if I had to bet the farm I would go with the Pioneers.

Nathan Hale Stadium is about as appealing as a Class 1A stadium in SWVA.  I'd rather go watch a game at Hancock County... if they still had a team that is.

It's all about the atmosphere.  It wasn't that many years ago we were playing in a cow pasture but the ambience was still off the radar.....

The only reason Boone has struggled early is because they only have 4 seniors on the field. The rest are Jrs getting their 1st Varsity starts and about 4-5 sophomores who are all great athletes but just lacking experience. They are getting better every week. Hope they pull if off Friday and end the season on a high note, but if not- still look for the next two years to be some of the best teams Boone has seen.

It may not seem like it on the scoreboard, but Boone has been in every game this year and just couldn't close the deal.    But none of that matters this Friday, it truly is the super bowl for both teams.

This game will be a 1 score game, plus the last 4 years it feels like a rivalry game again. I mean you have to beat your rival more than 1 time every 12 years to be a true rivalry game.

Just glad to see DC winning ball games and being competitive. 
Can DC stop the qb run?? 
Can Boone find #4 and slow him down??

This may come down to turnovers, DC has had 8-9 turnovers in the last 3 games vs Boone.
