You're definitely missing the fact that when Greeneville played Fulton the 2nd game of the season that Greeneville only had one starter playing (Satterfield).  Greeneville was without Gillespie, Grove

For those that watch HS Basketball, this is great season in Region 1.  I can't wait for the rematch at Greeneville for DB and to play Mo-East again... which won't be until the Region Tournament.

DB only beat Jeff Co. by 1 back in December. I said before that I can't remember a year where there was this many "good teams" in Region 1 & 2 (or East Tn.)  As the regular season ends I think I'll change that thought to I can't remember a year where there was this many teams on the same level. Their good teams but I'm not seeing anybody good enough to make it to the final game.

East handles Farragut, was never really close. Farragut never got any closer than final score after falling behind by 20 for most of 1st half. East played alot better than they had been. Saw some of the play that has plaqued them the 2nd half of season in the 2nd half of this one. 

Db beats West Ridge by double figures Thursday night

That Mo-East win was surprising to me... even though I have not seen the Admirals play...good win by East. Farragut has had some really good wins this season.

DB was solid vs WR. Stump and Gillespie were really really good! Browder was unstoppable, until the fouls stopped him.

Cannot wait for the District Championship game Saturday night in the DOME - Under Poore, DB has won 3 out of the last 4 District Championships, beating JC each time and #4 is coming Saturday. Should be a rowdy hate filled crowd...Perfect!

D-B wins by 20 but something was definitely off with us last night.  Can't play like that on Saturday or we'll be a 2 seed in next week's Region tournament.

The helltoppers take down Boone by 38.

West Ridge recruited the Sullivan East student body to try to help them last night.  Cute.  Maybe they can recruit Tennessee High's to join them next year too when they play us.

I hope Db & East win their districts and dont have to face each other before the championship for the 1st time in many years. Not saying East rolls over Science Hill or anything, will be a good game, but whoever wins that district  providing East wins this one up here has a whole lot easier road to the the regional championship. 

I think West Ridge beats Daniel Boone in consolation game And Db beats Science Hill in Championship.
East should win and beat Sevier  with I think Jeff beating West in Consolation

No matter how it shakes out I still think Science Hill and East in one Semi final and DB against Sevier in the other. West ridge could give Sevier some trouble if it was a neutral court, but going to Sevier will be a tough one for them. Both of those teams play a lot better at home. Should be a fun 2 weeks of ball for the fans and the kids.

      QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
