That would be great. I would love to see Jonathan to start coaching with his brother. He is a great coach.

Another Great option is our Huskies here in Seattle beautiful area and they would love to have Jamie Chadwell as there coach. He could bring back some long overdue excitement up here. And it pays well too.

Yes, the schedule stays the same.  Hopeful to keep our QB Martinez healthy this season, he was on a roll (943 yards in 3 games) before a season ending injury sidelined him and Maverick High Scoring offense last season.  Folks are spoiled sometimes though and won't be satisfied with another (5 in a row) Region Championship.  The same folks said the Mavs played in a weak region in Chattanooga , but when TSSAA placed them back in Knoxville this season,  they ran the table there as well and won the region again even with a freshman QB.  That schedule is an indicator that the coaches think this is a solid program that can withstand injuries and still win region titles.  Some folks think region titles aren't worth much, and that State titles are all that matters.  We all want to win a state title, and I think the Mavs have the ability to do it.  5 straight region titles are check the box indicators that the program is solid and doing things at a high level.  Teams like Maryville, Alcoa, Greeneville and Elizabethton have done it, but not many others around have won 5 straight region championships.   This program is one of the top programs around and continues to make the playoffs and if they can keep their QB healthy, will make another run through the playoffs.  They are loaded again with skill players, and welcome in Freshman QB, Blaine Stansberry.  He is a big kid, with a cannon for an arm.  Check him out on social media, and you will see he is the real deal. He will bring in a class of skill players, that are currently burning up the 7v7 circuit all over the state.   Yes, the Mavs are shooting for a state championship again this season, and yes we all know Elizabethton and Greeneville are going to be really good again.  I can't wait for August to get here.  It is going to be another incredible year for the Mavericks.  There is too much excitement and too much energy within the program for it not to be.
