There's a lot at stake when they've already had Ligma apply and Blade might go to the college ranks and coach at Bofa. Nov things happening around the Indy program. SurfingPatriot786
It is kind of wild the year he resigns at Indy, that Gaddis is retiring. Funny timing. I still bet you Blade is ready to step away from coaching and pursue other interests though. This is a really good job in a really good location that will have some attractive applicants. I’m really interested to see what direction they go. Anyone here care to share who Ligma is? Not familiar with that name.

I've heard his name mentioned for other jobs in the past just amongst people in the know. He's done a good job with the defenses at the schools he's been with in the past. I heard he's tired of working with the current principal he's with. I was told he was a real hard one to work with. Ligma likes to have two well-rounded individuals he trusts in any job he interviews for.

Unfortunately most principals today are academic people that feel as if athletics and other after school activities are nothing more than a burden that they must deal with. The days of a former coach becoming a principal are over. If someone has a principal that supports the coaching staff and wants to win they are very fortunate. Most principals today want to leave the building thirty minutes after school is dismissed. Edited November 21, 2021 by cbg

Dr. Patton at Indy is a GREAT Principal that supports both academics and athletics

He sounds like a good candidate, and I’m sure he’d be a great fit at Indy then. I imagine with their next head coach, they want someone who will help get them back to being competitive in that region and be a winner. They’ll be ready to what they need to assist with that.
