It’s game day!!!! It’s going to be a great day in sports. My nephew plays basketball for the Bees and then a chance for a state championship appearance. It’s a high mountain to climb but that’s why the game is played. Hopefully, we will see an injury free game. Thanks the Elizabethton posters for being good sports this week on the T. Let’s get it!!!!!

That 2013 team/Connor York was the team that got Upperman on the map and still the best team/player at UHS 9 years later…

Safe travels to all the Upperman faithful. It’s game day!  Looking forward to this game and anxious for kickoff. Bundle up good folks, it’ll be 31 degrees at kickoff and by games end should drop around 26!

Let’s take a look at the numbers from the season thus far…..

EHS    PF 479    PA  116

          PF    40 ppg Avg.  
          PA   9.7 ppg Avg 

 

UHS   PF 396    PA. 149

           PF  33 ppg Avg 

           PA   12.4 ppg Avg 

 

with 49 of these points allowed to the Greeneville Greene Devils.  They have allowed just 6.7 ppg in the other ten games played.  

In postseason play the Cyclones have scored 105 (35 ppg) and allowed 28 (9.9 ppg)

UHS in postseason play has scored 128 (42.7 ppg) and allowed 49 (16.3 ppg)

 

Hoping all have a safe trip and praying for an injury free game.  These are just for FYI.  Not picking one over the other because that’s why we play the game..

Not the best team but York was definitely the best player Upperman has ever had. I would put that team at 2nd best team Upperman has ever had.

Blazer maybe if you pull for Betsy tonight your team might beat us next year.

I think they said he may be playing tonight. Earlier post said they heard that “Ty” so going lace up those cleats and help get the W vs Betsy. So I would assume so that he’s playing.

I'm very torn because a Carter County sweep into Chattanooga would be so awesome.

As far as next year, Boone only graduates about 7 seniors and Elizabethton is graduating at least 80% of their offensive output.      I think Boone can give you a game next year but until we can actually win I always mark that one as an "L" before the season starts.     Let's be honest, 2-34 just aren't good odds for Boone.

Who would you say is the beat team? I would say the 2018 team.
