If a student athlete breaks team rules and the consequence is worthy of being dismissed from the team, then she should have been dismissed. I agree with TrickyD, she would still have looks if she was good enough. This will set a precedent that will ruin high school sports if she wins this. -

I don’t know what the kid is doing NOW. But he most certainly had a terrible back injury. He went into surgery. I promise you nobody is paying for a back surgery for no reason. -

If your not a West, then dogs fly. Listen, you don't have to sit here and lie. Nobody in hartsville would ever take up for a kid that quit on his team mid season(said it was a back issue)and then move to Macon county and begin immediately working out. -

Who's going to pay them? In my opinion coaches need to be in the school to interact with the kids/players. They need to be there to help encourage and intervene when it is necessary. Coaches need to have access to players attendance, grades, and discipline records. Coaches are a huge influence on players.
