I hope it's terrible.  We can stand in this stuff all day.  Orr field can be an uncomfortable place this time of year

I’ll say it again, @TCnation@TCRadio@jimmycrackedthatcornmay agree, the coldest game I’ve ever witnessed in my life was 2008 playoffs at Trousdale County. Around 13 at kickoff with the wind off the creek. 2 great teams. Pirates lost by a td. Had a chance late and dropped a possible game winner. The boys will be prepared. I don’t think Stone will go as far as Ricky Ross did with Jasper and have the boys sit in ice tubs outside in 35 degree weather, but they will be ready with their heated game pants lol

If it’s windy and that cold it will be unbearable for All. No Joke.
I guess all the pirate posters are shopping for longjohns and whoever’s flying that plane better be extra careful lol

So looking at pics of the bleachers, didn’t they used to go further up the mountainside nearly to that fence that’s above them?

Maybe 40 years ago. I think they was wooden. They changed them to concrete they are wide. An addition was built to the west (right side) about 25ish years ago. There are 3 sections.

@Roy Dillard send help to Cloudland. My parachute is stuck in a tree right outside the stadium and I’m just hanging here. @peglegdid a barrel roll in his plane and I flipped right out. I’m going to turn him into that Burnett man if I ever make it back to the county.

Powerp if your stupid enough to get in the plane with @pegleg you can hang up their a little longer.  I garuntee I will ride my goat up there before flying with pegleg.  Im not joking either.

    • Yep..could possibly have 3 teams ranked in top ten in the same four team district.
    • He had an opportunity to be the OC at TC without final say in the offensive gameplan. How does that work? Smh. Head Coaches are public figures regardless of the community size, and yes there are some out there, it’s irrelevant and not fair to them to name them on here. Also why is said “head coach” the head coach of the MS baseball program to begin with? Oh because no one wants it. As for the Lebanon question, I know what I’ve been told so just going off here say, some of the boosters were not happy with his roster decisions and wanted him out. Although he lead them to 20+ wins in multiple seasons
    • A head coach in the school system? No I dont think so. Head coaches are public figures in small communities. Not trying to slander, but this is an actual question. Do you know why he was forced to resign at Lebanon? This was his second chance.  He already left trousdale once and had an opportunity to come back a couple of years ago but spoiled that.
    • Are you perfect? Nope no one is, at the end of the day there are several teachers/coaches and even some in the Trousdale County school system that have DUI’s on their record. You’re correct on it being a bad mistake and it unfortunately could have ended horribly. While you consider the consequences minimal, I can assure you they are not. Ultimately I hope and have faith that he will learn from it and use it to better himself.
