LOL - I was talking about size of players, but this interesting about the size of the schools. I was being sarcastic like Man of Millions but it didn't register. It seems like everyone has Tullahoma as a heavy favorite. Maybe that is true, but I guarantee you the Tomcats will not be an easy out.

Not a favorite according to the article in todays Tennessean news paper.

Fair enough, my caffeine hasn't kicked in yet, so that's what I'm blaming it on. Haywood has themselves a really good HC

LOL - Man of Millions trained me in Coach T - I have to honor him every once in a while by being sarcastic. Sometimes I feel like Haywood County gets overlooked a little bit. I know the East has dominated in the past and Elizabethton and Greeneville are proven title winners, so I surely get it. The East needs to earn respect. Coach Smith is still young, but has amassed a 66-22 overall record and is 57-8 last five years, so he is doing something right.

From Nashville Paper

Haywood at Tullahoma

Adams – Tullahoma 17, Haywood 14: In a defensive showdown, Tullahoma's balanced offense will do just enough to pull off a field-goal victory.

Hamilton – Haywood 35 Tullahoma 32: JaKylon Taylor rushes for three touchdowns as Haywood makes the state title game for the second year in a row.

Horton – Haywood 21, Tullahoma 18: The Tomcats will have a close defensive battle against Tullahoma but Haywood will prevail.

Joyce  Tullahoma 24, Haywood 17: Wildcats reach state title game for first time.

Kreager  Haywood 21, Tullahoma 20: This might be best semifinal in the state.

Robinson – Haywood 35, Tullahoma 28: The Tomcats beat the Wildcats in a shootout.

Spears – Haywood 24, Tullahoma 17: The Tomcats overcome a sluggish start to make it back to the Class 4A championship for the second consecutive season.

Thanks - seems like an even matchup. I doubt any of these guys has seen Haywood play this year and maybe not Tullahoma either. I have seen brief clips of Tullahoma and know they are a solid team. At this point, anyone 13-0 is really, really good. I just hope for a good, solid game and that we win, lol

I agree except for the winner, Tullahoma gets their first trip to the Championship game…:D

Not as big considering Haywood is the only school in the county

Tullahoma has to share the talent pool with a 6A team at Coffee County central. We are the second largest school in 4A. We tried to play up to 5A for this 3 year classification period but we’re denied. I think we will have 5 A enrollment numbers by 2023.

Maybe so, but CC has never won a playoff game and you guys win the Coffee Pot over 70% of the time, so it's not like their stiff competition. I'd say your probably right about playing 5A if it is still a 6 class system

    • Yea I agree I will say tho I was a big “ v “ fan if an  opening ever did happen I think it would’ve been good to see him have a shot coming from a power house like Oakland. I’m sure he’s learned a lot from Kevin.  I bet he would bring a really good offense scheme IMO But after all this I just dunno anymore.  Whatever happens with the rumors an such if it did come to and opening I think this messes it all up.  The board members dreams are slowly slipping away now. I haven’t lived there for awhile I just hear what I hear, but my question is would there be any good potential candidates?? That’s why I don’t understand why people want b s out so bad who else could do any better ?? IMO there’s nothing attractive about it? As I stated earlier I went to the last game last year and taking a leak in a porta Potty is pretty sad and still nothing being done they say ..
    • I have a sophomore that can do 177 (preferred) or 192. Sent you an email.
    • speaking of board members how can a man get arrested 12 days ago and still be head coaching a team in TC school system? looks like your right about the tc board members. I bet it would be different if they had a kid on the team
