One last one for @Southtowner

Mother,

It’s quickly approaching. Friday is our day. Our coaches have the opportunity to lead our men as we seek to take Chattanooga. We have suffered three straight heartbreaking defeats in the battle for it all since our last victory. Victory? Yes, we have new co-captains to replace Captain Victory this go around. We’re hoping for better results. It’s our players job to be the stopper of this dreaded streak. Keep an eye out for further correspondence. One thing is certain, we will fight!

Love, PowerP

Are you joking? That comer man is taking his boys to Chattanooga tonight.  Grider took our boys to college twice the night before and they got out with those college girls and our boys got beat the next day.  Im not joking either.

Old Pirate says this trivia challenges a HEEP of youngons & these will certainly only answered by a few OLD former Earholers. Ifin theys not had to many skillet attacks. These pertain to the Dungeon days. Who was the last senior & probably only senior to not receive a letter for playing under The Professor? Who were team Captains on this team? Theys goin to be a HEEP of calling fer help, but who in the cat hair knowds? Pirates -+1+

    • He may have possibly said that to get the best out of him. Back when I was in school word got out I was going to transfer and Coach Story popped off and ask Coach Wilson in front of the team if Maryville was going to get a jock strap in return on this trade. That got back to me and I got fired up and stayed just to show them up. Now today Coach Story is one of my best friends.
    • Dylan's Dad, I'm glad you replied. I wanted to reply but wasnt willing to take the bait. There were 20 wrestlers on the team. I may be mistaken and correct me if I'm wrong but I believe 5 of the 20 attend McCallie right now and one will next year. At most, there are/were 6 kids on that team who attend McC. That leaves 14 other team members who have ZERO affiliation with McC (outside of maybe some friends) who represented our state to the best of their ability and wrestled their butts off that weekend. That weekend was a first for Tennessee and obviously a small step in the right direction for us as a state. Congratulations TEAM TN BLACK!
