Pirate2003
It looks like we are likely 21 point dogs in this one. It’s been a nice year though to say the least.

team69
They been saying the all year on here that the Gold ball game was played last night. Looks like the pirates might as well stay home. McKenzie might beat Oakland.
piratetom
From the start of a very promising season with excitement for a new brand of Pirate football, to COVID , to school cancelation, to coach departure, to unrest and uncertainty about the stability of the program, the ship still sailed. Through the chaos of unchartered waters, Pirate for Life coaches stepped forward to help these kids navigate doubt, confusion, hurt and mental strain. Through on and off field battles, the ship still sailed. With each game, a renewed Pirate bond was forming. Character was revealed, leadership emerged, belief surfaced. A passion and love for the game was reignited. The ship still sailed. The heart of a Pirate is unique. The fight of a Pirate is unparalleled. Orange and Black is not a color, it’s a town, it’s a fan, it’s a school, it’s a coach, it’s a TEAM! To live it, to breathe it, to be it is special. These coaches and kids proved it again , and the ship still sailed. One battle remains, one victory to claim. One ship, one sail, we will prevail. When the final cannon sounds, our ship will still sail… GO PIRATES!!
maverick348
Not sure which team is the underdog in this game. South Pittsburgh was runner up in Championship game in 2020. 5 state championships and 12 runner up trophys. Both teams will show up and give it all they got to be victorious. McKenzie is definitely not taking the Pirates lightly. Also playing the game in South Pittsburg area. GO REBELS!!, Edited November 27, 2021 by maverick348

powerp
SP has nothing to lose. A lot expected Gordonsville to be here. All expect the west to hammer the east. No pressure. Go out there and play the game you love. If you lose, heck of a season. But, if somehow, someway, you win….could be the greatest season/story in SP history. The ole ball bounces funny every now and then so you never know. However, after watching McKenzie last night they will be a tall, tall task. I’m thinking 28 point dogs.
