Liberty Creek applied to be in 3A with the TSSAA. However, looking like they are going to be pushing 1A. Beech is losing only 80 students and Station Camp is only losing 50. Looks like Sumner County's vision of being the next Green Hills is not paying off for them.

LCHS has an enrollment of 480 as of Spring Break. Not where they wanted, but they are still actively seeking students to fill their halls.

How can you actively seek students?  Your either zoned or not.

Not exactly sure how they are "actively seeking." They had 50 spots per grade for out of zone kids and if they had more apply they would have a lottery thinking it would be just like Green Hills. That was until not even 50 kids in the whole county applied for out of zone, in all four grades. And some of these coaching hires were not the "home run" most people were thinking. Some of the hires are making kids not want to apply out of zone even more.

Don't know much about the softball coach, but I do like the baseball hire.

Because it's hard to fill out a schedule in the middle of a 2 year cycle (if the 2 out of state games didn't make it clear enough)

Yes, I know it is hard to fill out schedule in the middle of a 2 year cycle. But being a new school with 3A numbers, I would opt to play 9 games instead of playing Oakland. I guess you can say LC is not like Laverne & Shirley.
