Maybe we shouldn't bring in the Foster Care System in to a high school football discussion. I've known many Foster kids and they face a hard life. If somebody is helping those kids then God Bless them.

I agree to a point. however, if a coach is taking in only athletes (especially good athletes) something smells fishy about that.  I thank anyone that helps children when they need it, don't get me wrong...

I do not understand why Coach Keith would have players living with him. His son is on the team, and he may have some friends over. I hope that is the confusion. What is with all the eyes on Clinton? What did the Dragons do?

Taking advantage of a Foster Care System is low.

I think the issue is people subconsciously think that if they downgrade and slander something, eventually it will become the negative aspects people say. I also think that since Clinton is having some slight success in sports this year, the old guard wants the sports programs to “stay in their place” at the bottom. The reality for those critiquers is if the team at the bottom starts coming up, someone else is going to the bottom!

As a longtime OR fan, it doesn’t bother me a bit if Clinton gets good, so long as they don’t beat us! As I’ve always said, it just makes the rivalry that much better. I’m sure a lot of OR fans think differently, but it’s no fun for me personally to go to a game and already knowing the outcome of it before it even starts. To me, that is boring, but hey, that’s just me.

I agree with some of what you said but a lot of the talk is all on Clinton. The HC has ran his mouth and said a lot of dumb things.

    • Yeah, you might be right. We will see what happens. Should be interesting.
    • None taken ever. I just gotta believe that AC started the fire on this. Small towns talk clinton is a small town. They may have not been the official one to put ink to paper but I am sure they are the ones moving the pieces here.
    • No offense intended,  but I will take the word of an actual administrator in that system on that question.
    • My guess is, this has absolutely nothing to do with athletics. I could be completely wrong. Just going to let this play out over the next few days/weeks before throwing accusations around. Funny how when OR benefits from “transfers” it is because of the incredible school system and never for athletics because most people can’t afford the “tuition”! Going to be interesting to say the least.    And if AC is turning anybody in, shame on them. They have benefited and work the system more than most over the years.
    • I think if either were their own school system then it wouldn't have happened. Of course a lot will make sense if they student who got their grades changed was an athlete
