2022 Henry County Patriots

After the way the offense performed at the end of last season, makes me optimistic that they will continue to grow and be a very good offensive group this season. If we can get a good solid defense this squad can win a lot of games this year.

Must fill some holes up front, but there’s a bunch of skill guys that can really play. Figure out the defense and find some depth, and this team can be really good.

Wanted to give a big shout out to the Henry County Patriots boy's basketball team!! Those guys are 19-1 and looking pretty dang good! Got a few football guys on that team! Gotta love to see it.

Is it still Mike Greer? I’ve been out of the loop for a while. 

I agree he’s a dang good coach. Doesn’t usually stick around very long though. I think this is his 2nd or 3rd stint at Henry County.

Yep and you ain't wrong. This time is different  I think it's his last stop.

Coach Greer is an awesome coach and a cool guy. I'm glad his kids played ball at WC. They were some beasts.

After 3 sessions , spring practice is well under way. Practice today will be later after our soccer team finishes practice which they need for the approaching first game  in Patriot stadium.. I am very excited by what I have seen so far.  Nice progress in the development of players in the areas vacated by graduating seniors namely offensive line, linebackers and secondary.. Spring scrimmage with Lexington the 17th.

How about Ryan Damron having a very good showing this past weekend? Kid looked sharp and makes me excited to see this season of Henry County Football.

Scrimmage against Lexington is Thursday at 5:30 at HCHS. I just saw a post on Twitter.
