Exactly.  I still remember the day when George Quarles left. People at work said Maryville is done.  No more championships.

Oakland is in 6A.  Mark my words when I say that since Hester is back in TN that Ravenwood’s presence in 6A will be felt soon enough.  Maryville’s path to Gold Balls doesn’t go through Morristown East/West any longer.  There are teams along the way that can match up talent wise and have the coaching to boot.

Coup attempt, Coup attempt. He didn't want to leave, you all pushed him out. You all can't wait for Nix to take over that your all foaming at the mouth like a rabid dog. Those 7 championships in a row aren't good enough. It's that loss to Maryville that eats everyone's guts out and Gary is their whipping boy they take it out on when it happens. What some don't realize is that it may be Gary's great coaching that their in a game all the way to the end with a 6 A power in the first place. I've lived this same situation in my life when Maryville fans did Ted Wilson the same way and by gosh it took twenty years to win it again. Sure you all aren't going to have any problem whipping up on a pack of cream puffs in 3A that don't have two nickels to rub together but wait and get a real taste of what you all have done when Maryville kicks the meat off your azz next year.
