What’s up with Jordan James?.....

Read from a primary source that Tennessee passed based on him not being a good fit, or he would have been a Vol. I'm not an expert, but based on my observations I felt like he would have been an excellent fit at Tennessee. Any comments on this from those that know more than I?

Thanks

Really not trying to be a wise acre here, but since Tennessee didn't offer him it stands to reason that they didn't think he was a fit for one reason or another.

No, coaches can't talk about individual prospects until after they sign an LOI or enroll.

My guess is that with UT's limited scholarship numbers, trying to get to the self imposed 73ish to satisfy the powers that be at the NCAA, that they didn't think they needed to sign another RB in the late signing period and didn't want to use one of the 73.

But Georgia took a RB from Texas today instead of a RB that was committed forever.

I was looking forward to seeing Jordan James play in the SEC no matter who he choose but this old guy can't stay up late to see those west coast games but I do hope him the best and enjoyed watching him play at Oakland.

Oregon actually played alot of games last year that started at 7:30 or earlier, so you'll get your chance

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
