I agree! I’m going say McKenzie game might be a barn burner. TCA game I see them winning by 10 or getting upset. I would have said Gibson Co by 15. I have no idea @ Crockett

I haven’t seen Gleason lately, but the way they played Clay County and Summertown definitely they are getting better. They got two really good guards. Do they have some other girls playing well that has got them playing at this level???

I think their big girls might be playing better. I believe they might have been struggling. I’ve heard they have 2 guards that can score 25-30 on any given night

But I haven’t seen them play at all

They lost to Henry County by 8 or 10 I believe. GC beat Henry County by 15 or so and McKenzie beat Henry County by 6 or 8 I believe. GC was in dogfight with McKenzie and won by 4. It will definitely be one to watch here. They better have their A game with McKenzie. McKenzie is tough.

I watched them play y’all. Y’all contained Davis pretty good. It was the other guard who really impressed me. Looking just at scores it looks like Mcnairy and Crockett will be a dogfight

Crockett is always pretty good at home. They won the Hub City which wasn’t a great field but they beat TCA so they are playing pretty good right now.

Yes, the big girl is playing much better offensively, and other players - like Sophie Wilson - are shooting lights out. She hit 3 or 4 threes against Summertown and has shot the ball really well this year. There is also size off the bench, which really helped against the Summertown big girl. The main question for tonight is how Gleason handles the press.

Good deal. McKenzie just shoots the lights out. Davis got some against us but thought we held her pretty good, but the others can shoot lights out too and they shoot it with confidence. Gleason is always tough too. Should be a good game.

I can say Gleason guards ( from watching them play Summertown ) can handle the ball really well - their motion offense is really effective also - would like to watch the game but I’m sure I’ll hear all about it here

    • Ah, more Coach Ham bashing. There seems to be a club, so tell us, are you the VP, Chairman?  From the stories I've heard from his past players themselves Coach Ham is one of a kind and has literally worked himself to the bone year after year at every coaching stop. His legacy isn't Ws and Ls.  So give it a rest. It may be old school cliché, but could you even walk a mile in his shoes? The man has retired from coaching, let him be. Even on these measily message boards.
    • Evans-Collins got a lot of play over the years.  Several junior high teams and the youth leagues played there in my day.
    • Nick Boykin of Riverdale Hs and Sunkist Kids WC will wrestle in the Olympic Trials finals tomorrow against Joe Rau. Winner goes to Tokyo!
    • Yeah, I’ve seen it cause issues too. I read in a newspaper that he was just going to teach, so I assumed it was at CRHS. Maybe I misunderstood. Are there any guys on his staff ready to take it over?
    • Sounds like the same group that designed West, South, East and Fulton. They all used the old Knoxville High Field along with Rule. Talk about a field that got over used.
