Expect Hardin County and Lexington to be co-favorites. Southside probably a distant 3rd place. McNairy still in rebuild maybe 4th. or Chester Co. Liberty struggles continue. Researching for info and will relay.

Expect Lexington's 2021 rebuild to produce results as leaders will be seniors rb Isiah McClaine, 5-8, 200, lb T. J. Hart, 6-1, 235, qb Ethan Jowers, 5-11, 170, lineman Deonte Williamson, 6-3, 310, and junior db Rocky Hurley, 6-0, 165.

Hardin County lost a lot but return a lot. Outstanding jr qb Carter Smith, 6-2, 175, will lead the offense. Key seniors will be Brayden Wilkes, 5-10, 165, Deondray Sparks, 5-10, 160, Jaquan Keele, 5-9, 160, Ki'Andre Smith, 5-10, 175, Kevin Tarver, 6-0, 215, Caleb McGee, 6-4, 230. Juniors stepping up will be Kam Haymon, 5-10, 170, Sam Tanner, 5-9, 165,  and Adam Harris, 6-2, 300.

Key returnees for South Side will be seniors : rb Nick Powell, 5-10, 205, Caleb Massey, 6-1, 255, Mahlik Booze, 5-11, 165, Jashon Bond, 5-10, 195, and lineman Garrison Parker.

If I had to make a preseason prediction on 6-4A it would be Hardin County, Lexington, South Side, Chester County, McNairy Central and  Liberty Tech. But I do think Lexington will be much improved this year. I expect it to be razor close between Lexington and HC for the top spot.

Chester County lost some senior talent. New head coach. Key returnees : senior Ethan Hopkins, ol, 6-0, 250, & juniors : Palmer Cox, ol, 5-11, 260, Chad Barham, wr, 6-3, 220, Hunt Pipkin, de, 6-3, 200, Evan Schippers, qb, 6-3, 170, Jaleo Smith, rb, 5-8, 185.

Hardin County qb ability to make chunk plays with his arm might make them the favorite. Plus HC defense probably be good too. Difficult to find much info very deep into the roster of Lexington & South Side. McNairy is very young but will finally get a spring practice and a full off season of training with their new head coach. Bobcats should be better even if the w-l record does not show it.
