Here's a question. The foul was called on the block on the catch. Player then starts to make a post move to opposite side of basket. Referee called foul on floor. Not a bonus situation. Why would GC shoot free throws anyway?

We probably need to investigate that ref lol. We’d had a 4 point lead had they not messed up and gave them foul shots.

Alright so question from someone who is just a dumb truck driver:

GC gets stuck. Does the shooter make both? Does York get the ball immediately after? Did they score on that possession?

GC made two FT’s off the foul. York made the tech FT’s and GC fouled to try and get the ball back. So they made 4 FT’s. Should be a tie but York up 4.

But my question was why does GC even shoot the free throws. Had the tech not been called they would have had the ball out of bounds. Player was fouled on the catch. Not on the shot. Ref clearly called it on the floor. Not trying to pour salt in wounds. Trust me I've been there before. Just trying to see why she shoots.

See that. So you were down 4. Missed a 3, fouled. They made both. You make a layup. They make two free throws. You make a three. Game over.

Still had a chance even after that tech to at least tie. Good effort. Great luck heading into next year.

He was so stupid. Only reason he called the foul was because we had a lay up.

    • Ah, more Coach Ham bashing. There seems to be a club, so tell us, are you the VP, Chairman?  From the stories I've heard from his past players themselves Coach Ham is one of a kind and has literally worked himself to the bone year after year at every coaching stop. His legacy isn't Ws and Ls.  So give it a rest. It may be old school cliché, but could you even walk a mile in his shoes? The man has retired from coaching, let him be. Even on these measily message boards.
