Some teams have enjoyed great success from the most recent reclassification.

It is a joke that these are substate games.  Of course it has been happening for years but you would think some common sense would come into play at some point.

For baseball and softball it’s a joke, but it’s tougher for rural west Tn to have that kind of success in basketball.  It evens out

The state tournament brackets are out.. Eagleville at home vs. probably the worst team there on paper. “Blind draw” seems more and more like a lie every year. I have always been curious why it is done behind closed doors. Who do you have winning it?

For boys basketball yes but for girls basketball it is an easy road for west TN also if you are in District 13.

Eaglesville is the favorite and they are set up really good in this bracket.  The bottom bracket will be very competitive.

Eagleville beats bradly. Coalfield beats LV. Eagleville beats coalfield and as long as they have decent pitching they make it to the final. Shame they get to play at home till the final. The other side seems like gordonsville beats Peabody. Don’t know much about Mackenzie though. Had a close call with an average Moore county but other than that I don’t know much of their other competition. Id say that bracket is won by deepest pitching staff.

McKenzie for sure has 3 probably 4 guys that can throw.  And 3 others that can come in relief.

Coalfield will have 3 main guys and 2 maybe 3 that will come in for relief but their pitching falls off quick after their main 3 so if LV gets to the starter early Tuesday they will have a shot.

Wow the brackets are definitely skewed. Eagleville gets the #6, #7, and #8 teams, AT HOME.

Other side of the bracket will be an absolute dog fight.
