Who are the favorites in 5A for ‘22?

As long as they are in classifications where they don't have to go through Wilco schools. Henry County is 2-10 against Williamson County schools since 2015. Y'all know this. They should make up ground this year since they return a lot and Summit and Brentwood are going to be down from where they were last year. Once Nolo and Page go 6a, y'all will be back to dominating 5a consistently.

2015 Independence. Centennial beat HC twice

2016 Independence. Brentwood beat HC

2019 Summit

2020 Summit

2021 Page ( I admit HC was the  better team, but still lost)

HC returns a lot this year and I expect a good semifinal against Nolensville

Oops. I did forget about '19 Summit. But the ones before that, like I said, were basically 6A teams playing in 5A. When I see "historically" I tend to think longer term...

This is true. Hopefully they can get over the hump this year and make it back to the big game. It will likely be their best chance/team since 2018.

You could also argue we were “down” when losing to them, if we’re going to say they will be down this year. That’s all relative. If the change that was made in week 8 was made earlier in the season, Brentwood would’ve took the loss at Patriot Stadium last season.

This is 100% facts! Henry County also beat Brentwood twice at Patriot Stadium over the past few seasons. In my opinion Henry County was a better team than Brentwood and Page this past season but it is what it is.

Y'all were down 6 straight years? If If If If If If If If. If you live in hypotheticals, then HC probably wins every single game they play. Brentwood wasn't hitting their stride at the time they played either. Summit beat y'all way worse then they beat Brentwood.

In all seriousness, I do think y'all be will be very good this year because y'all return a lot. I said it will be between y'all and Nolensville out of the west. I applaud HC for playing Wilco teams and this year they have a good shot at beating both Brentwood and Summit.
