From East TN, Union County and Alcoa should be in the hunt. I'd give the nod to Alcoa, they have pitchers and can hit the ball top to bottom in the order. Coach Fekete Bailey is building a team that could make a run for the next few years.

I'm liking my Huntingdon Fillies right now. Girls are 13-2 after today's 15-2 win against Mckenzie. We've very good fundamentally, lots of speed with a bunch of big bats. Pitching is young but pretty good. If this team gets hot at tournament time you better look out!

The guard from Westview McCall Simms is supposed to be one of the best pitchers around here and she is a Freshman. They say she is big time. I am going to check Westview/GC out after Spring Break. Hadn’t seen actually any games but hear Lexington and Henry County are good in 3 A and 4 A.

I saw Meigs beat Alcoa a it looks like Alcoa is struggling so far this year with only 4 wins.

Westview beat Huntingdon 11-2 yesterday. Westview is a pretty solid team from top to bottom! Their only losses are to schools above 2A and those were close ones

No doubt who the best team is now in our district. Fillies had trouble with Westviews redheaded pitcher. Normally we're a pretty good offensive team but she held us in check. Think the Fillies will win at home!

The East could be down a little this year with the top teams probably being Bledsoe, Sequatcie Co & Meigs.
