Summertown losses to Giles Co 1st loss by Summertown to a district foe in over 5 years - guess all good things have to come to an end

Evidently nobody excited bout their teams well I am - well excited that they didn’t need to rebuild ( like I thought ) they just reloaded - may not win it all but got good chance to repeat

It looks like it's going to be Huntingdon and Westview out of district 12. Split the season series. Both teams young with pretty good pitching. Fillies probably the best offensive team in district. Both pretty solid teams.

McCall Simms Westviews # 1 is pretty tough and composed for a freshman. Fillies beat her 5-1 Tuesday and shook her up a little. Fillies #1 a lefty is throwing very well right now. Lexington beat us 2-0 today in a game we had a shot to win.

She doesn’t prefer pitching at all and doesn’t play it any during travel ball but can pitch well enough that she’s always been asked to for school ball. Where is district tourney and is there a bracket released yet?

District 12 tournament starts Thursday @ Martin. Don't know the brackets yet. Simms is a very talented young lady no matter where she plays.

Sims hasnt had to pitch much this year from ehat ive seen. No doubt Westview is the favorite to win it all for softball in 12A. Look for a Huntingdon/Westview championship game. None of the other teams have enough players with heavy bats. 

I think union city is in third before districts. They went to state last year in single A. 

Was surprised GC struggled as much this year as they were runner ups in single A district last year.  But from what I've seen they only have about 3 girls hitting consistently.  First two in the lineup and one more. I hear they need a new coach next year too.

Really not seeing a sure bet 2A state champ. I would agree S-Town is the  favorite at this point. Whoever gets hot at the right time.

Did Sequatchie Co. get put out by Monterey? Huge upset if so.

Yes they did get put out by Monterey. Believe it’s Bledsoe and Monterey for the championship.

Looks like Sequatchie should have saved some of those runs up when they were trying to embarrass York and Jackson Co.
